Echo’s of the Hapnu Series
Behind the Story
The Echos of the Hapnu series was born from a question that has always fascinated me: what happens when human ambition collides with something older, stranger, and far more powerful than we are prepared to understand?
I’ve always been drawn to those moments in history when one world of knowledge, technology, or belief suddenly crashes into another. Those collisions rarely unfold cleanly. They create fear, opportunity, betrayal, discovery, and sometimes catastrophe.
The series is also shaped by ideas that have long haunted science fiction and scientific speculation: the Fermi Paradox, the rare conditions required for complex life to evolve, and the chilling possibility behind the Berserker hypothesis, self-replicating probes built for a purpose humanity may not survive long enough to understand.
From there, the story asks a dangerous “what if?”
What if humanity was not alone, but merely unnoticed?
What if the machines we found were not relics, but warnings?
And what if the force moving toward us could not be reasoned with, bargained with, or easily stopped?
At its heart, this series is about people facing the impossible. My characters are not gods or chosen saviors. They are flawed, stubborn, wounded human beings trying to survive the weight of discoveries that could change everything.
With each book, the story grows darker, stranger, and more dangerous as humanity edges closer to forces it may not be ready to face.
